Ok, Tom may not be gay. I do know from firsthand knowledge(College Fraternity Brother who came out of the closet) that he (Fraternity Brother) "Allegedly" checked Tom and "his friend" and Nicole and "her friend" into separate rooms at the Sheraton Biscayne Bay here in Miami. Like I said, he "allegedly".

I still think he's a kick ass actor. And who cares what his preferences are.

I agree with the 'who cares' sentiment John -- it's completely ridiculous that he sues anyone at the drop of the hat that might even suggest it. I think the fact their parents got divorced -- with one living in the States and the other returning to Australia -- will effect his children far more in the long run than a rag like the Enquirer questioning his bedmates. The kick ass actor part is up for debate though... ;-)

Actually, Cruise's lawyer is slick. He got a finding of fact by a court which says that Tom isn't gay -- now it's matter of legal record. Tom Cruise is heterosexual, so sayeth the court. Therefore, if anyone else tries to say otherwise, the libel suit will be a piece of cake -- the "law" already says that it's a lie. It was a really sweet piece of lawyering, but it's ooky that such slick strategising was dedicated to something so banal.
