Posted: 01.29.2002 More than you never wanted to know...
This was a lot harder than it looked! But thanks to Ashley, Nikki, Angela, Cheryl, and a few other blogs near you...I followed suit with 100 things you may or may or not know about me.
"I was elected "prom queen" at the 1994 El Pollo del Mar Ball. " Isn't that Chicken-of-the-Sea? You went to tuna school? ¤ ¤ credit: hoopty | 01.29.02 at 06:05 PM | link--this ¤ ¤I was hoping someone would catch that! ;-) Yes, it was the Chicken of the Sea Ball (the name used in "Back to the Future" for their prom) -- and the formal was for our anti-sorority Kappa Kappa Chino. We had letter shirts made and everything! ¤ ¤ credit: robyn | 01.29.02 at 06:09 PM | link--this ¤ ¤Cary Grant, *sigh*... The Girl Drink Drunk skit from KITH was probably my favorite one. And yes, I do like chili cheese dogs ;) ¤ ¤ credit: Ashley | 01.29.02 at 06:11 PM | link--this ¤ ¤I still wear flannel shirts and I'm not ashamed to admit it! :) ¤ ¤ credit: cheryl | 01.29.02 at 06:21 PM | link--this ¤ ¤A cheerleader? This changes everything for me Robyn... ;) The fork on your wrist...LOL! That was great Robyn! :) ¤ ¤ credit: Christi | 01.29.02 at 06:49 PM | link--this ¤ ¤LOL! What a great list! Most informative! I have to say... I'm not an extremely mushy person by any means, and I don't believe I've ever said this before, but you and Todd are the cutest couple I've ever seen. It's so touching how much you're in love. *sighs* ¤ ¤ credit: revolution9 | 01.29.02 at 09:21 PM | link--this ¤ ¤Hey, I own my house -- it's a townhouse -- and I don't know my neighbors, either. And my roommate is pretty sure she was in HOBY at the same time as you were. ¤ ¤ credit: Mike | 01.29.02 at 11:23 PM | link--this ¤ ¤That's it. I have to do this list now. It might take me a few days to do it, but I'll give it a go. I didn't realise you didn't drive. There were many CFS years of mine where I just didn't feel safe driving, so I didn't. Here's to getting back behind the wheel :) I thought 22 was funny, and can understand 23 ;) - it was a very interesting read Robyn. ¤ ¤ credit: Joanne | 01.29.02 at 11:51 PM | link--this ¤ ¤wow!! it would take me three years to compile that much info about myself... What's with the fork and spoon on your wrists in high school?! Did you keep running out of utensils? And we have the same drinking history & tastes. :) #78 & 79... aww!! Peppermint is my fav ice cream too! yummy! Fun info!! ¤ ¤ credit: Lisa | 01.29.02 at 11:55 PM | link--this ¤ ¤Yep Lisa, I was a few days behind the pack in getting my list cranked out. I'd save and come back to it. :-) As for the fork, one day we were sitting in the cafeteria bending silverware (oh to be a young, bored teen again) and I slipped mine around my wrist. It stayed there and caught on. My sister remembered it, and did the same when she got to high school -- starting the trend all over again. And Jo, the day I couldn't remember the difference between the brake and gas pedal was the last day I drove. I shuddered to think if there had been a child standing in front of the car, and couldn't exactly yell at senile senior citizens for doing the same thing if I couldn't be equally responsible myself. I do miss it terribly. But the Explorer is just too big for me to even try again, even out in the wide open spaces of suburbia. And everyone, it looks like I was Mike's roommate's junior counselor coordinator at an Oklahoma HOBY leadership conference. It IS a small world! ¤ ¤ credit: robyn | 01.30.02 at 12:07 AM | link--this ¤ ¤I'm STILL a Durannie! ¤ ¤ credit: Meredith | 01.30.02 at 09:23 AM | link--this ¤ ¤it was the "enchantment under the sea" dance in back to the future :) ¤ ¤ credit: ericalynn | 02.05.02 at 10:23 AM | link--this ¤ ¤prom, homecoming... what's the difference? and hey, there's nothing wrong with still wearing docs (i think i said the same thing last time you posted this). and i wouldn'ta pegged you as a bad speler with badly grammer... ¤ ¤ credit: mikey | 06.12.02 at 07:01 PM | link--this ¤ ¤I kissed a girl once or twice too. ¤ ¤ credit: peat | 07.21.02 at 05:24 PM | link--this ¤ ¤Wow! What a list. Yes I made it all the way through. I connected on #95 - The TV is constantly on but I rarely "watch" it. Currently "Trading Spaces" is on somewhere behind me. I couldn't tell you what the rooms look like. Genevieve isn't on so I could care less. Anyway, enjoyed the list, wish I had more time and talent to put into my site, it might be half as good as this one. I loved reading your list. I am still working on mine, I think I am on #17 -- LOL. Thanks for sharing it! ¤ ¤ credit: Robin | 10.18.02 at 05:25 AM | link--this ¤ ¤i know what you mean about braums and sonic...there the first things i go to as well when im home.........i live in florida as well........nice to see some okies here every now and then.....except i am an osu grad. ¤ ¤ credit: cody | 12.26.02 at 01:05 PM | link--this ¤ ¤HI! I'm a PO-HI graduate too! I found you by a link from one of my fav's "Crazy Tracy" - how's that for a SMALL world! I graduated in 89, so I'm a few years older than you...but I bet I saw you at least a few times! I was on the yearbook staff as well - a photographer. Good luck in the future, and I am enjoying your site!
