Sunny days...sweepin' the clouds away
This is one of those picture-perfect Florida postcard days where you just feel lucky to be alive! I spent a great deal of this morning out in the yard just taking in the great outdoors -- and here are fifteen photos from my journey. Enjoy!

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

Those are some pretty photos!

I was just wondering where you get your neat photos for your blog? Theya re always so bold and great!

Flordia is a pretty state! I have been there once before!!

Thank you! All of the candids I use are from the digital camera that Todd got me for my birthday -- it's just *amazing* and I highly recommend it! (Minolta's Dimage E201 released in fall 2001.)

Wait, poinsettias are plants that grow in the ground? We got 4-5 inches of snow on Saturday, then this morning it was coming down again in big chunky flakes. But now it's melting, and it's going to be in the 50s soon. Still, I'd rather be someplace warm. I'm looking forward to my trip to Austin for SXSW -- but that's not until March.

I'm not sure if those are poinsettias to be honest -- they're about 4-feet tall and the leaves just started turning that beautiful red. Since we just moved here last summer, I still don't know the names of a lot of the flowers and plants scattered around...

Well, this freezing cold and soaking wet (it's pouring down rain here) North Carolinian is JEALOUS! Isn't it time for my vacation yet?

Very cool. Looks like your backyard is really neat. We had a cold, rainy day in VA

Tell me about it, living here in Southern California, our Spring will happen in a few more weeks! I can't wait to see the roses at the "new" house bloom!

Absolutely stunning photos, Robyn! Your backyard must be amazing with all these beautiful flowers and plants! Is it possible to see a photo of your entire backyard? I simply love this kind of thing and find inspiration in others :)
