Paint the mutha pink!
Well, I'm sorry to disappoint those of you looking for a more "exciting" design change and announcement with all the hype. There are just some things in life you don't confirm or deny 'til you're ready. A girl's gotta have some mystery about her, right? But with that out of the way...Meryl wins the (*ding, ding, ding*) door prize for guessing correctly!

The Pink Ladies Pledge is
to act cool
to look cool
and to be cool
'til death do us part
think pink!

This design was originally intended to be the post-Christmas switcharoo. But I made the mistake of showing it to a few friends, which basically resulted in "double dog dare" peer-pressure from Ashley and my husband to look the part. *g* Since I almost-always take dares (and won't play Truth or Dare because of it), I figured "what the hey", and booked a hair appointment for today. This is the last year of my life that I'll have a "2" as the first digit in my age, and you only live once. Besides, Gwen is actually 3 years and one month older than I am. If she can do it... So there you have it -- and here's the proof.

I realize some people actually go into convulsions and projectile vomit at the color pink, so if you're one of those people -- or just reeeeally liked Shirley -- you can view my blog here instead. It's the same blog time, slightly different blog channel.

Viva la pink! Now I just have to figure out how to not make my Gma cry over it...

It looks good...whats the final result look like...I went from brown to fire engine red one time...now I jsut stick to highlights..

The final result is the large photo to the left of the collage... It's my natural blonde with hot pink lowlights, and bubble-gum pink highlights. Todd *LOVES* it! ;-)

Linh, you should SO go for it! There was a catalog today with a brunette w/ blunt cut ends and fire-engine red tips on them -- it was SO cute! My hair's too light to ever pull that one off though...

The pink hair looks SO COOL!! It I wasn't scared to have chemicals near me ever again I may think of doing something radical, but not at the risk of getting sick again. I'll just sit back and bask in your daringness. You go girl!!
(Just love the Speak and Don't buttons)

Love the hair and the design. BTW...I thought of the Tarina Tarantino girl too when I saw your hair!

OMG!!! I still can't believe you did it, and I knew the pink hair appointment had been made! It looks sooooo cool! Too bad I have to go with the indentured cubite corporate look. And you know I *love* the design! YOU ROCK!!!

You Go Girlfriend, you look ab fab!! You're also making me long for the days when I had a turquoise streak in my hair.... if I did that, can we go hit that snooty mall and record reactions? ;)

I love the grin on your face in the bottom right pic! It looks very cool. I'd be tempted to walk around singing, "I'm too sexy for my hair" ;) Way to start off the new year!!

The design is fantastic (I LOVE GWEN!) and the hair is even better. I can't believe you did it. It's so cool. I agree....Todd needs to get some multi-colored tips. Although I don't think he'd be allowed back to cubicle land. I can just hear my Maggie now, "But Aunt Robyn dyed her hair pink, why can't I?!?"

It's AWESOME!!! I love love love it!!!!!! Wow!!! I wasn't expecting it to be THAT cool...but it really is!! Robyn - you're my hero. :)

Wow, Robyn! I wish I could do stuff like that. Looks fab! Grease lightnin'!

Oh, this is SO neato - the design AND your hair!! You rock SO much, Robyn!!!! You make me want to try out something outrageous like this while E is gone this weekend :giggle: I've always wanted to try out some real-red streaks (which would turn into a variety of red curls throughout my brown). Maybe I'll convince my sis to help me with it this weekend :)

Oh, and I just downloaded some more garbage and no doubt songs, so I'm feeling right at home over here :) Yay!!!

Nikki, it's a date! Tara, tee hee -- I'm the crazy aunt! And Kristine -- you MUST! She did a test streak on me yesterday that came out Coke can red and it was soooooo cool looking! And thanks *everyone*. When I wake up feeling like Frenchie one day, I'm going to have to re-read this thread again... ;-)

Wow, I sure give you a lot of credit Robyn. There is no way I would have been able to do something as drastic as dying my hair like that! You go girl, and more power to ya! *Love* the new redesign btw :)

Just a test comment...please ignore...

Robyn, both changes rock. I'm more of a fan of the pink hair than the pink site, but Gwen is a goddess, so you get serious style point from me. :-)
