Please stay tuned
Sad but true, it's time to kiss the holiday girls goodbye... You might notice this "version" is 6.05 (since it borrowed from the previous template). It's also because 6.1 gets unveiled on the 27th. But you'll just have to stay tuned (bwah hah hah hah) to see why! It will be as close to skinning as this site's seen yet...

The torture! The torture! I can't take it anymore! Bad enough I had to live without email for three days and those emails are lost for good... now this!

Who is it? I'm clueless, I don't recognize her. Help me out. Huh? I don't get it... And the holiday girls could have stayed another day or so. I am leaving up my snowflakes one more day. Of course I keep my tree & my lights up until Epiphany too. I am one of those gals who hangs on to Christmas until January 6th and the German in me isn't about to change!

She's Shirley Manson -- lead singer of the group Garbage. All of the little quotes throughout the site pull from Garbage lyrics, too -- including the one on the main image. ("This life can turn a good girl bad" is from 'Cherry Lips'. "Pretend anything just to be adored" is from 'Stupid Girl'. "Pour your misery down on me" is from 'I'm Only Happy When It Rains". And "Heaven knows what a girl can do - heaven knows what you've got to prove" is from 'Paranoid'.) Shirley rocks!

I keep all of my decorations up 'til New Years Day, and then it all comes down. Sigh... But this is one step closer to skinning my site if someone ever gets bored and wants to help me with it. ;-) ¤ ¤ posted by robyn on December 26, 2001 at 12:42 AM ¤ ¤

Actually - skinning is pretty fast & easy. It really is. I am confident that with an afternoon and a reading of the tutorial, you could have it all set up. Only thing I had a hard time was getting my CGI code around my posts set up right. Everything else? Piece of cake. Or as a belated Christmas gift I could set it up for you next weekend - it's super fast now that I know how to do it! :)
