A few days ago Michele started makinglists of her favorite alternative Christmas music for CDs. I'm starting to get in the spirit myself. Maybe it's the NyQuil-induced haze. So here are twenty-one of my favorite "non-traditional" ones:
1) 12 Days of Christmas - Bob and Doug McKenzie
2) Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Tori Amos
3) Little Drummer Boy - Tori Amos
4) Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - U2
5) Gabriel's Message - Sting
6) Oi to the World - No Doubt
7) Christmastime - Smashing Pumpkins
8) Santa Baby - Madonna
9) Oh Holy Night - Eric T. Cartman
10) Swiss Colony Beef Log - Eric T. Cartman
11) Thanks for Christmas - XTC
12) Mele Kalikimaka - Jimmy Buffett
13) Merry Christmas (I Don't Want...) - The Ramones
14) Christmas in Hollis - Run DMC
15) Winter Wonderland - Annie Lennox
16) Christmas Song - Weezer
17) Christmas Celebration - Weezer
18) 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (reading) - Henry Rollins
19) Christmas Wrappings - The Waitresses
20) Blue Christmas - Sheryl Crow
Bonus Track: Christmas Wish (reading) - Steve Martin
You forgot The Chanukah Song by Adam Sandler.

HA, Todd! I heard that song on the radio last night for the first time this year and that's the one line I said out loud. Cracks me up every time! And Robyn, that Steve Martin skit is one of my faves... great pick! :)
