Back to the here and now again
Ok...no more longhorn bashing 'til next year...I promise! You know I love you -- and reading your cool blog -- Melissa (at pie in the sky)! We even have the same middle name (but I have an extra "n")! Today it's back to life, back to reality. Since the U.S. has launched air strikes in Afghanistan, the 2001 Emmy awards have been cancelled. Sounds like they've been cancelled for good this time. And so much for our brief glimpse of fall here in Florida. They just said on FOX that it's 102-degrees on the field at Raymond James, as the Bucs kick off against the Pack. OUCH!

Hey! I just got over here to catch your reaction- and I'm offended! But since I got over here too late to be truly offended, and you already called off the dogs, I guess everything's OK. But I'm only letting this all slide because you're a fellow Lyn(n)ette. At least until next year, right?? :)

Save any zingers that you didn't get to use this weekend for the end of the month though -- you just may be able to get in a few of them after we play Nebraska (in Lincoln)! ;-)

Well the Bucs just stopped the Pack at 14-10. A good football weekend all around! Unfortunately we lost power at halftime, and missed all but the last 3 minutes in the second half though. I guess that's what you get when your power company is named Withlacoochee. And yes, it's pronounced just like you think it would be...heh heh...

I honestly don't think Nebraska will be too much trouble. Crouch is a superstar, but your defense rocks. And with White, things look A-OK.
