Speechless
Oh. My. God. I am so sad reading this news. He was simply AMAZING. Taking a moment of silence now...

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

He was so talented! I'm not sure what book it was, but I loved the pictures of how he made famous people look like other famous people - all with makeup! Of course, now I can't think of who. That's so sad.

NO! I can't believe that. He was truly an artist...

Here are the books you're talking about ("Making Faces", "The Art of Makeup", and "Face Forward"). He also had a line of cosmetics and makeup brushes set to launch this fall...I agree, so very sad. He really did change the face of fashion the last 10 or so years.

Oh wow. He was fantastic, and his books were wonderful. He'll be missed, and I'm glad his work is chronicled in the books he left behind.

That is so sad... I loved his books and his features in Allure...

I was also shocked to hear of his passing. I heard it on the local news and all I heard was his name. Naa it can't be that Kevyn Aucoin. So I logged on and found out that yeap that it was him:O( I missed out on meeting him when he came back to Lafayette for a book signing:O( You are right he was amazing....Love your blog by the way:O)
