I gave him a Shiner
If you're wondering why I've been so quiet today, I was helping my husband through an early mid-life crisis. He was starting to wonder why he didn't feel "smart" anymore, so I made him a simple flowchart to illustrate why!

Hey boy take a look at me...let me dirty up your mind...

LMAO! That's hysterical! Priceless!

And WOW, nice of you to do for him.

I wonder... it's possible to get Woodchuck (aka nectar of the gods) through the 'net; I wonder if it's possible to get Shiner Bock that way?

I just choked on my peanut-butter sandwich. You should warn people, y'know? Your poor husband...

We can actually get Shiner now at a place down in Clearwater called World of Beer. It's just driving down there...we always seem to forget to do so... But I think one of the happiest days of Todd's life was when he found it on tap at Lee Roy Selmon's in Tampa!

That is the best and I think too that goes for all men too....give them a beer and they think better then they ever have...

One of the happiest days of my life was when I went to a local liquor store, and found not only Smuttynose pale ale, but Ommegang beers as well!

We can easily get up to New Hamshire, where Smuttynose is brewed...but it's quite a hike to Cooperstown, where Brewery Ommegang is located!

I know what Todd is going through! :-)

There is also a World of Beer in Tampa just north of the stadium. (little know fact: The 2 owners of World of Beer used to host a Saturday morning talk show devoted to beer on 620 AM)

We used to live just up the road from the one by the Stadium (on Waters). Their names aren't Bob and Doug, are they? ;-)

That is freaking hysterical! You guys are so cute!! ;)

The north Tampa one used to be owned by a big man by the name of Wally. He used to carry his own 2 liter glass boot mug to Ybor with him. I heard he dropped over 150 pounds and got out of the beer business.

The Clearwater one is owned by Seveno (sp?), who was one of the 2 radio hosts.

And I believe they had a short-lived restaurant in Clearwater called "World Of Beer", but that was after I left Tampa.

Yeah, that World of Beer restaurant was just up the road (across Hwy 19) in Clearwater towards the beach in that row of doomed restaurants that always close within the first year or so of opening in that spot...
